Hui
Yuan Liu, the founder and head coach of New York
Table Tennis Club (NYTTC).
Coach Liu was a professor at the Henan Province Sports Institute.
He obtained the Master Degree in ping pong theory and training
at the Chinese Sports University as well. He was a professional
player with the Chinese Liberation Army team and received
the honor and title of Sports Master in Ping Pong.
After he arrived in the U.S. he was the Champion of Man¡¦s
Single of over 40.
Coach Liu, from 1983 to 1986, was one of the head coaches
for the Henan Provincial Table Tennis Women's team. Among
the players received training from him, are the world-famous
ping pong heroic woman Deng Yaping, as well as Li Qi, Huang
Zhimin, Dong Li and so on.
He came to the U.S. in 1994 and in 1995, he established
the New York Table Tennis Club, known as NYTTC. He currently
is the head coach in the Club. He honorably received the
award of the Best Coach in the United States in the year
of 2006.
Among the numerous students benefiting from his club and
him, Coach Liu trained a couple of young players that were
competed into the USA National Cadet and Youth Teams. Many
of his students are now playing as their top players in
various universities and colleges, such as Columbia University,
Cornell University, State University of Pennsylvania, as
well as Princeton University.
Coach Liu has trained so many players who love this sport
in all age¡¦s group and in all circles. His patience, his
professional training skills and theories make him one of
the best coaches in the U.S., and have made great contribution
to the rapid development and popularization of table tennis
as a sport in the United States.

Yu Shao,
coach of New York Table Tennis Club (NYTTC).
Shao Yu was a member of former Chinese
Shanghai Table Tennis Team, and a member of Chinese National
College Team. He is a twice U.S. National Man¡¦s Team member
and represented the United States in various world level
tournaments.
Shao remains to be among the top 25 players in the U.S.
He is also a multiple champions in the U.S. for men¡¦s over
30 group.
He is featured in his solid ground in skills as he started
as a young kid. The professional career makes him a coach
with advanced skills, great experience. He is also known
as good tempered, patient, a good friend of the young players.

Liu Juan,
coach of New York Table Tennis Club (NYTTC).
Liu Juan was a former Chinese National
Women Team player. She received the title of National Sports
Master in Table Tennis. She started ping pang when she was
6 years old and represented China to participate many world
level tournaments. The Chinese Collegial Women¡¦s team where
she played for received a few times team championship with
her participation.
She plays pen hold paddle and is the most sophisticated
No. 1 woman player in China, as well as in the world, to
hit the balls using the back side of the racket to block
and smash the balls. This skill normally is considered man¡¦s
style.
Her skills in playing and training are among the top level
of this sport. She is excellent in both variety and in depth
to train and to coach lower level students. She is extremely
well received by all level players in the Club.

Yang Liu,
coach of New York Table Tennis Club (NYTTC).
Yang was the first place in u2400 group in the 2008 U.S.
Open. He was also the second place in the u2400 group in
2009 U.S. Nationals.
He was a member of the U.S. National
Cadet Team in 2002.
Yang Liu plays with an all around skills
and advanced tech. His features in coaching are to apply
different strategies towards different students, young and
old, man or woman to their best levels.
He was widely liked by the members and his students.
